After completing his training in England, Duncan travelled Europe, Scandinavia and the Americas, experimenting with techniques and equipment; both modern and classical. This wealth and variety of experiences over the last 13 years, have led him to a quality and style that meets his own high standards, whilst surpassing the demands and expectations of clients, both private and commercial. Although Duncan is still establishing himself in British Columbia, his work has already been recognised. His artistic flair has been used to catalogue native Canadian jewellery; his technical knowledge of light and exposure has captured the energy of National and International musicians whilst his studio work has portrayed both notable professionals and families.

Duncan’s wife, Leslie, has played an invaluable role in helping Duncan to understand local customs and traditions; these are especially important for Wedding and Family occasions. As a young family with children of their own, the Turner’s are poignantly aware of the importance in capturing precious moments and different generations of family together during special occasions.
